Emelia is just about a month an half, i think she is almost 8 lbs now from my bathroom scale calculations. I would say 20 inches too by now. She has a doctor appointment next week so we will get the official results. I put her in her first 0-3 month outfit today, which is a little loose compared to the newborn clothes that fit her perfectly right now. She is starting to get a little meat roll o her little legs too which is adorable.
She is much more alert and spends more time awake, which is good when its not during the night haha. Her sleeping pattern is starting to take form now, usually she goes to bed for good around 11 or midnight, wakes up between 3-4 and then not again until around 6. I hope the pattern continues and starts to spread out so there is more sleep time for us!
Sometimes you can catch her concentrating on things now that she sees and her eye contact is much more intense. She also kind of grabs for things in this panicked motion now.
Last night, she took a big girl bath in the jacuzzi tub. So cute to see her kicking and floating around in the water. She seemed to really enjoy it more then the silly plastic baby tub haha. It was almost like she was ready to put her hands behind her head, kick back and drink a pinacolada haha.
We also decided to buy a 2011 Subaru Forester, the loaded model, yesterday. So now Emmy is responsible for my soccer mom status, even though the car is still pretty sweet and much cooler then any wagon or minivan haha. Not that there is anything wrong with those vehicles ;)
